‘Rifle and Spear with the Zulu’ is a limited print run publication that explores the life of Lt. Col. Alan Gardner. I worked with the author to create an ecommerce site to focus and maximise online sales.
Originally, payments were taken through 3rd party links, such as Ebay, PayPal or Amazon. By consolidating all payments through one site, buyers could purchase securely and confidently from one location.
From the outset, it became apparent the site had to present a 360-customer experience where buyers could purchase the book or easily ask questions regarding recent orders. Woo-Commerce allowed us to create a user-friendly system to manage orders, automatically notify the customer of the purchase, processing and delivery stages, and consolidate the customer’s information whilst following strict GDPR guidelines.
